List of Sodium Hyaluronate Applications

Image
Sodium hyaluronate gel is a kind of glycosaminoglycan, which is widely used in biomedicine, biomaterials, functional foods, and cosmetics.   Sodium hyaluronate has been discovered for nearly 80 years. As early as 1934, Meyer and Palmer isolated a polysaccharide containing uronic acid and hexosamine from the hyaloid body. In a physiological neutral environment, hyaluronic acid is a polyanion. In 1985, Balazs and others suggested that the term hyaluronan be used to unify the name of the substance on the grounds that the substance is essentially a carbohydrate and should be named according to the naming rules of glycosaminoglycan. "Hyaluronan" has been widely used to cover any state of hyaluronic acid and its salt (hyaluronate), usually translated as "hyaluronic acid", abbreviated as HA. At present, HA products are usually referred to as "Sodium Hyaluronate Injection", and the HA product is called sodium hyaluronate gel. As early as the late 1970s, the Uni

Hyaluronic Acid for Skin

Hyaluronic acid is a necessary ingredient to support skin elasticity.   Hyaluronic acid is a necessary ingredient to support the elasticity of the skin. As the age increases, the amount of hyaluronic acid in the body gradually loses, resulting in a decrease in the moisture content of the dermis, and the skin will produce wrinkles relaxation.   Soft tissue augmentation is used to treat wrinkles caused by skin aging, or some distressing concave lines and scars, and to inject collagen, artificial dermis, hyaluronic acid, and autologous fat into the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a popular material for subcutaneous injection because of its strong moisturizing effect and almost no allergic reaction after the injection.   Hyaluronic acid used for injection is a purified ingredient, after injection will be fused with the original hyaluronic acid in the body, the skin will swell, wrinkles flattened protuberance, high safety. So, whenever it comes to buying an eye cream, make sure you check HA is on the ingredient list. Although eye cream is mostly used to remove wrinkles and dark spots but moisturizing that area is important to maintain skin health. This hydration is due to water in the cream, but hyaluronic acid is more effective here. HA molecules can absorb up to 1000 times m

Sodium Hyaluronate VS Arthritis

Image
Hyaluronic Acid ( sodium hyaluronate )  can help you with your arthritis There is a significant increase in arthritis patients recently. It is estimated that 20 million people in the US are suffering from this joint disorder which limits their daily physical activity.  Sometimes it also leads to physical disability. This is why scientists are intensively researching to discover the best and the safest treatment for it. Although anti-drug methods like exercises and some medications can provide pain relief, they are not always permanent. This makes hyaluronic acid the major subject of research as it plays an important role in our bone health. As hyaluronic acid is a thick jelly-like substance, the way it surrounds our joints and bones allows us to move easily. It gives flexibility to our body and it is naturally present in almost every cell. Most of the time, arthritis is due to the absence or lack of HA. So, injecting hyaluronic acid covers that deficiency and provides pain relief.

Hyaluronic Acid Aesthetic Applications

Image
Since the early 2000s, hyaluronic acid has been used in aesthetic medicine as an injectable wrinkle filling product. Products based on hyaluronic acid such as Teosyal (laboratoryTeoxane), Restylane (Galderma-Q-Med laboratory) or Surgiderm (Allergan laboratory) are used by doctors to replace collagen because hyaluronic acid reduces the risk of allergies and lasts longer (three to 12 months) 13. The fact that it is absorbable makes it possible to avoid definitive accidents.   Hyaluronic acid is now commonly used as an ingredient in beauty products because of its moisturizing properties. Some laboratories have developed anti-wrinkle creams based on hyaluronic acid, the efficacy of which is also discussed 14, 15.   The aesthetic applications of hyaluronicacid injections are today very varied. Hyaluronic acid is commonly used to fill dark circles and wrinkles on the face, but it can also be used in addition to botulinum toxin to treat deep wrinkles. Its use is effective to fill w

Korea uses Hyaluronic Acid to Improve Acne Scars

Image
A study was conducted in Korea which included 30 individuals between the ages of 11-30 with moderate to deep acne scars.   The participants were evaluated for efficacy and potency of Hyaluronic Acid using sub-dermal minimal surgery technology . They were given three sessions, with four-week gaps between each session. They were advised to report on side-effects including pain and improvements of scars if any. At the end of the three-month period, twenty percent of   participants had 75% improvement in scars, sixty percent noticed 50 – 75% improvement, whereas, twenty percent noticed 25 – 50% improvement. There was spot bleeding during the procedure but it came down within 48 hours. Besides this, there were no other side effects reported. Another recent study involving 12 individuals using Hyaluronic Acid for acne scars was carried out. Most of them saw an immediate difference in moderate to severe scars and did not report any side effects besides spot bleeding and edema. These studi
